All lessons are paid for in advance on a Monthly or Bi-Monthly basis and is always due NO LATER THAN the 30th/31st of the month. Payments can be made by cash or check, in person or by mail.
- Tuition under $100 must pay 2-months at a time.
- Tuition over $100 may pay monthly.

- TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Please notify the office if a student drops or adds a class, so your tuition will be adjusted accordingly. In the event of illness, the student is welcome to attend another class of the same type and level within one month. Taking a month or so off during the dance year is not allowed and will not be refunded. All tuition for all months must be paid by May 31st, 2009.
- Monthly tuition fee remains the same regardless of how many lessons are in a month. The number of lessons per month varies and the tuition fee is an average of these. If a student is absent, a deduction from the month's tuition is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

It is the dancer/parents responsibility to check the bulletin board on a weekly basis for important upcoming information regarding schedule changes, shows, rehearsals, picture day, upcoming events, etc. Notes are always passed out, however, parents don't always receive them, so please check your children's dance bags and/or check the bulletin board.
[weather policy]
In case of bad weather, please call the studio and listen to the message, or check out the website to see if we are holding classes. Our policy is to close based on Warren Con and Utica Schools districts. However, there are some cases where the weather changes before Anita's classes begin and we may still be holding classes. We DO NOT follow the Warren Con or Utica school calendar for any other reasons, including school breaks, in-services, etc.
[dance attire]
- IF NOT IN PROPER DANCE ATTIRE, YOU WILL OBSERVE CLASS! Proper dance attire must be worn to all dance classes with proper shoes.
- Int/Adv BALLET students must wear a plain leotard, pink tights, and PINK BALLET shoes, ballet skirt is optional.
- JAZZ & TAP students need Black Shoes.
- Hair must be securely pulled back off the face.
- ABSOLUTELY NO NO NO JEANS or STREET CLOTHES will be allowed in a dance class.
- Sports bras are required for ages 9+ or when needed for modesty. All students should wear appropriate supportive undergarments for classes and performances.

ABSOLUTELY NO FRIENDS allowed in class.

NO TAPE RECORDERS ALLOWED! We are prohibited by ASCAP, BMI, SESAC to allow anyone to tape any records.

Visitor Policy: Parents are welcome to view classes the last week of every month for the last 10 minutes of class from September thru April. During the months of May and June we will be preparing for recital and viewing will be up to the discretion of the teacher. Please abide by this rule, it was made to avoid any distractions in class. Children tend to pay more attention to their parents than their teacher.

ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES in the classroom. NO GUM!!!

ALL coats, shoes, etc should be bagged and hung up. The studio is not responsible for lost items. Please put your names on all articles. If you have lost something, please inquire at the front counter; we have a Lost & Found box.

Students must be picked up promptly when their classes end. Students should wait for parents inside the building they should not be outside or in the parking lot without the supervision of their parent. Children who are not dancing may not be left in the building or parking lot without their parents supervision.

Students eating in the studio should only eat in the student lounge. Please do not use the floors, hallways or entrance ways as a cafeteria.

Children are not allowed to stand on the chairs/benches in the lobby.

Wet boots or shoes must be removed before entering the dance rooms.

Children are to behave politely - no running, yelling, dancing, or performing gymnastics in the lobby is allowed. Parents, please speak to your children regarding this rule. Please keep all the aisles clear so people may walk through.

Improper language or behavior is not allowed by students on studio premises or at any studio functions. Students are to treat all staff members, adults, and peers with respect.

HELP US TO KEEP THE STUDIO CLEAN!! Place all trash in the wastebaskets. Parents, remind your children to clean up after themselves when they eat here and to respect studio property. Also, please return all magazines to the racks after you have finished reading them.

- Be prompt for class.
- No cell phones in class.
- Show respect for others - no talking during class.
- Keep your hands to yourself during class. Wait patiently and quietly for your turn.
- Listen when the teacher speaks.
- Replace "I can't" with "I'll try!"
